The Mosman Prep Canteen is passionate about providing our boys with home cooked, wholesome, nutritious meals, snacks and drinks at good value prices. Menus are carefully crafted and prepared by hand daily using quality fresh ingredients. Our everyday meals are packed full of ‘hidden’ fresh vegetables, and our smoothies are naturally sweetened and bursting with fruit. We have a range of freshly baked snacks or frozen fruit and yoghurt pops for those hotter days.
A range of gluten-free foods is also available and dietary requirements can be catered for. The Canteen strives to be environmentally friendly in its operation. They only use biodegradable plastic (cups and forks), brown paper bags and no individual portions sauces.
Our school community is very lucky to have such a wonderful Canteen, which is highly popular and the envy of many other schools. A small team of dedicated staff, managed by the Canteen Manager, run our Canteen. They report through the P&F which administers the non-profit Canteen.
Online Ordering System
We offer a convenient online ordering system, Flexischools, which allows parents to place orders 24/7 via their website or download the Flexischools App.
Orders need to be made before 8.45am, otherwise, a more limited late menu is available until 10am. If your son has forgotten his lunch or recess the school will issue him a ‘yellow slip’ order which will attract a flat charge and ask him to pick from a restricted menu.
To register for Flexischools, simply go to Flexischools and click "Register Now". Once registered, you can start placing orders immediately and set up automatic top-ups. The online menu is the same price as the normal Canteen menu. The system also allows you to book ahead for the whole term.

Volunteering
The Mosman Prep Canteen relies on the help of volunteers for daily support. Without this support, the canteen would not be successful and able to offer value for money pricing.
Parents, grandparents, guardians and carers are all welcome to volunteer and will find the Canteen a great place to meet new members of the community and learn more about your child’s environment (you will be surprised how excited your child will be to see you in the Canteen!).
Canteen volunteer shifts run 10:20am to 11:20am daily. To sign up, place your name on this form below or speak to your son’s class parent for more information.
